Openings on 28 MHz... 1st to 3rd April 2019

After a quiet two days on 10 metres, it finally opened to Africa on the 3rd of April.

Monday 1st April 2019... A very small Sporadic-E opening.

Tues 2nd April 2019... One of the 'dismal' days with just G0OYQ on the east coast of England heard. Probably meteor scatter.




Wednesday 3rd April 2019... In the morning, got several FT8 decodes from MM0HVU in Scotland. In the afternoon, there was a Sporadic-E opening to Spain which in turn allowed access to the F2 propagation from there to the south of Africa.

The AM70I was one of the AM70 series of stations in Spain to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the URE... the national society for radio amateurs in Spain.
