The map for FT8 looked pretty identical as the 30th of April with most of Europe covered and a small opening to the Caribbean and South America.
A total of 16 beacons were heard and are listed below.
The unusual ones were....
OY6BEC/B in the Faroe Islands. This is the first logging of this beacon this year for me which seems late. Last year in 2019, I heard it on the 10th. 24th & 26th of April.
PI7ETE/B in the Netherlands is always a nice one to hear. First off, it's about 1,000kms away and it's a sign of short skip and a high MUF. Second, it only runs 300 milliwatts to a small vertical in an attic of a house! When I hear that beacon then I know conditions on 28 MHz must be good.
